Join Abernathy and Dev Bootcamp for a panel discussion about how high-demand technology skills, lifelong learning, and investing in education are tools for empowerment.
Panelists include Dev Bootcamp alum Christopher Coles, Career Developer Bie Aweh, and Abernathy founder Willie Jackson. The event takes place at Dev Bootcamp HQ on Wall Street and will feature an interactive panel and networking.
Bie Aweh’s professional and personal passion is to enhance lives, solve problems, and drive growth by bringing people of diverse identities together. Within the innovation economy (technology) her focus is on recruitment, retention, learning, and development. She helps audiences think beyond obligatory “diversity trainings” and “unconscious bias trainings”, empowering participants to see the dialogue as opportunities for self and professional development.
Christopher Coles is an engineer whose experience lies in Application Design, Systems Design, UI Design, Architecture Design, and Product Management. He believes people are the sum of their experiences and that it's through these experiences we are all connected. His access to an array of social, cultural, professional, and economic circles, through his own unique experiences, allows for powerful collaboration and exchange.
Willie Jackson is an inclusion strategist who empowers thoughtful organizations and the leaders who run them. He is the President and CEO of Equity Impact Group, Founder and Publisher of Abernathy, and a frequent speaker on the topics of workplace equity, global diversity, and multicultural millennial leadership.
